This one-day course is designed for those who have a digital SLR camera but use it on Auto.
Professional photographer Roger Crosby will guide you through:
• Aperture and shutter priority
• Camera settings and modes
• Lenses and filters
• Depth of field, and many other SLR features
Developing your photographic knowledge to get the best out of your camera.
With a maximum of six students there will be individual tuition and plenty of practical opportunity for you to learn control of your camera whilst working in a fully equipped photographic studio.

Snap or Portrait?
Portrait Workshop will make the difference
Use the best light, backgrounds and poses to capture the personality and true likeness of your sitter/subject.
The workshop is designed for DSLR camera users and provides tuition and guidance on:
• camera settings,
• Types of lighting
• The photographer to model relationship
We look at the lighting available at home as well as full studio lighting with electronic flash units, backgrounds and props.
With a maximum of six photographers on the course there will be plenty of practical opportunity for you to learn control of your camera and your lighting.
Course starts at 10.30. and runs through to 16.00.
Refreshments and a buffet lunch – (with cake!) are included.
